i went to church today. to see my boy ranjit speak... he's a preacher. at the end of the service we took turns washing feet. there is something beautiful about kneeling down and washing an old woman's feet. an old black woman with a beautiful hat in her church clothes and lordy lordy you know how they get tired and them feet ache.
then went out. i met an old friend from berkeley randomly and found out she was kannadigan. somebody speaking your own language endears you to them.
last night in NYC. hash dogg and neelam came out. a little joint in harlem. as he columbia students rolled in the black folks bailed. it was a sociology study almost. and sad.
back in LA manana until may. I am going to somewhere soon, latin america or india. india might be falling through.
it is 143 in the morning and i have to pack. i subletted my place and have to pack and be out by 5 tomorrow. the LA coming home California.
