trying to come up with a plan for residency. i am thinking med/peds right now. medicine and pediatrics. i saw a patient today with her kid in surgery and it was so much fun playing with the 4 year old kid. poking her in the belly. everybody is super adult in surgery. serious and angry with a lot of motherfucker she did what and that bitch. but surgery has its own charm. i like the hard work. the 6-6. even though it is tough to string days of 5 hour sleep. and i dont think i could deal for five years with type A's. i been struggling with the decision cuz i like the OR and i like the feel of being something that is definitive. like i just transplanted that liver. or my hand is currently on the cerebellum, the freaking brain. i am touching the brain. and the whole brain is pulsating. it is dope. to have your hands in the body holding intestines and cutting and suturing.
