just read dipti's grandmother eyes poem.
she's come a long way baby in terms of poems and thinking. i wonder what the 21 year old dipti would think of the casi 26 year old dipti.
or any of us for that matter. i remember sizing up people all the time in terms of coolness when i was young. adults that were lame and older folks that you might imagine yourself being as cool as one day.
just opened my mailbox to a friends wedding invitation. damn it was well done. they are 3 pics on the beach and in each picture they are holding up a card and all three pics read Save the Date and May 23 written in sand. cant really do justice to it but it makes you break out into a smile. i got to re think this whole marriage thing. they look kinda thrilled...ha
its friday and NY is almost lukewarm. and its still light and i am off the weekend. good stuff.
